The Shire

The shire covers a large area from Nagambie to Ruffy, up to Violet Town and across to Arcadia.  It is divided into six wards, and the Strathbogie Tableland is included in the Mount Wombat Ward. A councillor to represent this ward and its 1200+ ratepayers is elected every four years.
